Byron Price
Price holds the Charles Marion Russell Memorial Chair, is Director of Charles
M. Russell Center for the Study of Art of the American West at the University
of Oklahoma and is Director of the University of Oklahoma Press. He is the
author of more than three dozen journal articles on western American history
and art and has written several books. Price has won numerous writing awards
including best book of the year in western history from the Caughey–Western History Association and has served as consultant for several
television series and specials.

Wyman Meinzer
Meinzer is the only official State Photographer of Texas,
having earned that designation in 1997, and was selected to do the photography
for the George W. Bush Presidential Library. In 2009 he received the
Distinguished Alumnus award from Texas Tech University in recognition of
outstanding achievement and dedicated service.
Meinzer, the recipient of the 1997 National Literary Award for his book, “Texas Lost: Vanishing Heritage”, has 20 photography books to his credit and more than 250 magazine cover credits including Newsweek, Outdoor Life,
National Geographic, Time, and Texas Highways.
